Baseball Recap: Eagle Point Takes a Loss

Eagle Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Eugene Highlanders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 on Tuesday.

Eagle Point's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for North Eugene, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Eagle Point nor North Eugene have any future games scheduled.
