Basketball Recap: Dock Mennonite Comes Up Short

Dock Mennonite played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Methacton Warriors, falling 72-36. The Pioneers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-13.

It was another big night for Abby Arnold, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards for Methacton. The team also got some help courtesy of Penny Wolf, who posted four points.

Dock Mennonite is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6. As for Methacton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dock Mennonite will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvary Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Methacton, they will face off against Phoenixville at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Methacton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.3 points per game this season.
