Preview: Latitude Lynx vs. Leadership
The Latitude Lynx will be playing at home against Leadership at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Latitude kicked off their season on the road back in December of 2023 and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 28-14 bruising from Oakland Military Institute.
Meanwhile, Leadership had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.8 points), and they went ahead and made it six last Wednesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 49-0 win over Tennyson. The result was nothing new for Leadership, who have now won five contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Hannah Tagaga and Natalia Diaz were among the main playmakers for Leadership as the former dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten steals and the latter dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Diaz has scored at least 25% of Leadership's points. Another player making a difference was Kimberly Moncrease, who scored six points along with four steals.
Latitude's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Leadership, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
