Volleyball Recap: Owyhee Comes Up Short

Owyhee and Lund squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Owyhee had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss two weeks ago.

Lund was led to victory by EVANOFF JAYDEN and TESSA HOOLEY. JAYDEN had 27 digs, while HOOLEY had 18 digs, six kills, and three aces. HOOLEY is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Owyhee has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season. As for Lund, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Owyhee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lund, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Wells on the 1st.
