            Baseball Recap: Eastside Eagles vs. Madison County Red Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            Eastside won the last time they faced Madison County and things went their way  on Friday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Red Raiders by a score of  7-3. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Eagles.

Swords was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Braydon Smith, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Amond Sands was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with one  triple and one  run.
Eastside's record now sits at 7-16. As for Madison County, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record  this season.
