Softball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce managed to slip by Vinita the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 13-5 to the Hornets on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Vinita, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-23.

Commerce will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wyandotte at 6:00 p.m. on February 6, 2026. As for Vinita, they will square off against Stigler at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
