Baseball Recap: Pierce Comes Up Short

Pierce and Durham squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Pierce had to settle for second. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 15-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-4 defeat two weeks ago.

Pierce's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Durham, they pushed their record up to 27-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Pierce nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
