Softball Recap: Lincoln Southeast Takes a Loss

Lincoln Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Kearney Bearcats, falling 16-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Addilynn Foley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Lincoln Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Kearney, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.

Coming up, Lincoln Southeast will welcome Lincoln Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kearney, they will head out to take on Lincoln Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Silver Hawks will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight.
