Soccer Game Preview: Pebblebrook vs. Cass

The Pebblebrook Falcons will square off against the Cass Colonels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pebblebrook took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Dalton 2-1. The win was all the more spectacular given Pebblebrook's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 38th, while Dalton are ranked first).

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Cass brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Everything went their way against Holy Innocents Episcopal on Tuesday as they made off with a 9-1 victory. The win was some much needed relief for Cass as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Pebblebrook's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Cass, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
