Softball Recap: Moore Takes a Loss

If Moore was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Silo last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions fell just short of the Deer Creek Antlers by a score of 9-8 on Tuesday. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Antlers earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

Moore's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Deer Creek, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Moore will host Edmond Santa Fe at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Deer Creek, they have already played their next game, a 6-2 loss against Ponca City on the 18th.
