Baseball Recap: Dexter Victorious

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Monday. Dexter came out on top against Sumner by a score of 8-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for Dexter.

Brady Gaw was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Noah Kain was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Dexter's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Sumner, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Dexter will square off against Penquis Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sumner will be paying especially close attention to Dexter's game: after Dexter faces off against Bucksport, they'll take on Sumner again at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th.
