After only two runs in their last contest, Raymond Central made sure to put some runs up on the board against North Bend Central on Tuesday. The Mustangs blew past the Tigers 14-6. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won three matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Maja Matulka was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September of 2024. Lacey Down was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

The win got Raymond Central back to even at 4-4. As for North Bend Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Raymond Central will venture away from home to take on Fillmore Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Bend Central, they will welcome Pierce at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bluejays will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
