Baseball Recap: Burlington Comes Up Short

Burlington and Yuma squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Burlington had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Indians. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Yuma, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Burlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yuma, they have already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Lyons on the 16th.
