Ridge Spring-Monetta's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Whitmire 35-0. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Trojans had established a 28-point advantage.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Blackville-Hilda, who bounced back after a loss on the road on September 12th. They took their contest last Friday with ease, bagging a 42-0 win over Denmark-Olar. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Fighting Hawks' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Blackville-Hilda's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Ridge Spring-Monetta suffered a grim 35-12 defeat to Blackville-Hilda in their previous meeting back in November of 2024.
