Mt. Abraham waltzed into their game on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Middlebury Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-0 two weeks ago.

Jackson Jennings got the start for Mt. Abraham and what a start it was: he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Those nine strikeouts gave Jennings a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Evan Corrigan was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025.

Mt. Abraham's record is now 10-1-1. As for Middlebury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Coincidentally, Mt. Abraham and Middlebury will both be playing Missisquoi Valley the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Thunderbirds at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
