Hebron Christian never let their opponents score on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Providence Christian Academy Storm, sneaking past 2-0. The two-run effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Hudson Phillips looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Hebron Christian's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gus Steve, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Hebron Christian's record is now 21-2. As for Providence Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Hebron Christian will head out to challenge Pace at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will host Oglethorpe County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
