Baseball Recap: East Jackson Comes Up Short

East Jackson came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to the Banks County Leopards. The Eagles have struggled against the Leopards recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

East Jackson now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Banks County, the win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, East Jackson will be playing in front of their home fans against Elbert County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Banks County, they are taking a road trip to take on Commerce at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
