If Granite Bay wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Rocklin, they should've done a better job of containing Bianca Slone. The Rocklin Thunder were the clear victor by a 57-37 margin over the Granite Bay Grizzlies on Friday thanks to Slone, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Gisele Negueloua, who posted 13 points and four steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2 steals per game.

Kati Powell and Sadie Berg certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Powell put up 13 points and five boards, while Berg scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Alli Powell, who earned four points and six rebounds.

Rocklin's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Granite Bay, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Rocklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-46 loss against Davis Sr. on the 11th. As for Granite Bay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-41 victory against Bella Vista on the 8th.
