Baseball Recap: West Scranton Comes Up Short

West Scranton lost to Dallas back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Invaders fell 5-2 to the Mountaineers. The Invaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brayden Rodney was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.

West Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Dallas, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

West Scranton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dallas, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Wallenpaupack Area on the 22nd.
