Softball Recap: West Laurens Has No Trouble Against Wheeler County

West Laurens never let their opponents score on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Wheeler County Bulldogs. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by eight runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for West Laurens and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Wheeler County, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, West Laurens will head out on the road to face off against Appling County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wheeler County, they will venture away from home to challenge Toombs County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
