Basketball Recap: Ayala Takes a Loss

Ayala lost against Diamond Bar on January 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ayala Bulldogs lost to the Diamond Bar Brahmas at home by a 60-44 margin. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 417th, while the Brahmas are ranked 154th).

Ayala has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season. As for Diamond Bar, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ayala has already played their next matchup (against Claremont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Diamond Bar has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Walnut.
