There's no place like home for C.H. Yoe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Mexia Black Cats by a score of 42-32 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Yoemen considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

Despite the loss, Mexia had strong showings from Markaveon Boyd, who rushed for 180 yards and one TD while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and Ja'Darrius Davis, who threw for 262 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Boyd was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards.
