Claxton won the last time they faced Savannah and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Claxton Tigers put the hurt on the Savannah Bluejackets with a sharp 20-4 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Preston Waters looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Claxton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Whitfield, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. With that strong performance, Whitfield is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.

Claxton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
