Baseball Recap: Bristol Central Takes a Loss

Bristol Central was the 14-2 winner over Platt when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Tuesday. Rams fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Panthers since Tuesday.

Bristol Central now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Platt, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-11-1.

While Bristol Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
