Jackson Heights put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to the McLouth Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-8 win. With the Cobras ahead 42-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Jackson Heights was led to victory by Drake Mellies and Austin Zeller. Mellies threw for 174 yards and three TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, while Zeller gained 133 total yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Zeller a new career-high in receiving yards (120). Ian Allen also helped with two scores in total.

Jackson Heights' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for McLouth, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Jackson Heights will challenge Pleasant Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cobras will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for McLouth, they will venture away from home to face off against Valley Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
