Basketball Recap: Pine Hills Adventist Takes a Loss

Pine Hills Adventist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 39-22 fall against the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

Pine Hills Adventist's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Pine Hills Adventist will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Victory Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, they will square off against Orange Glen at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
