Baseball Recap: Unity Christian Comes Up Short

Unity Christian and Hearts Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Unity Christian had to settle for second. They lost 15-1 to the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Unity Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Unity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Hearts Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Unity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hearts Academy, they have already played their next match, an 11-1 win against the Lions on the 25th.
