Soccer Recap: Harris County Find Success

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Harris County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Central Lions 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Tigers were the better team in the second half.

Eliseo Salazar and Cristian Resendiz scored both of Harris County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Harris County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. Central is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
