Football Game Preview: Uniontown Red Raiders vs. Southern Rams + How To Watch

The Uniontown Red Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Southern Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Uniontown's offense hasn't had much luck over their past six contests, but Friday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

Uniontown is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Connellsville on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Red Raiders were beaten by the Falcons 56-12. The Red Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Meanwhile, Southern was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 20-14 to Tucker County. The Rams have struggled against the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Southern's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Uniontown, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Uniontown strolled past Southern in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 27-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
