Basketball Game Preview: Los Altos Conquerors vs. San Dimas Saints

The Los Altos Conquerors will head out on the road to square off against the San Dimas Saints at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Los Altos came up short against South Hills and fell 50-41. The Conquerors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, San Dimas came tearing into Wednesday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 73-34 win over the Braves. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-13.

San Dimas' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Los Altos, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-14.

Los Altos couldn't quite finish off San Dimas in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 35-32. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of San Dimas' Priscilla Romero, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 boards.
