Baseball Game Preview: Indian Hill Braves vs. Bishop Fenwick Falcons

The Indian Hill Braves will venture away from home to challenge the Bishop Fenwick Falcons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Indian Hill is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.

Indian Hill can't be too worried about heading out to take on Bishop Fenwick: they just beat Milford at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Braves put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 14-8 win on Friday. Considering the Braves have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Dylan Hartman and Devlan Daniel did most of the damage at the plate: Hartman went 4-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Daniel went 3-for-6 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most hits Hartman has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Ashton Graham, who went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.

Indian Hill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .389 or higher in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Bishop Fenwick fell victim to Cincinnati Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Indian Hill's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Bishop Fenwick, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.

Indian Hill skirted past Bishop Fenwick 6-5 when the teams last played back in June of 2025. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
