Softball Recap: Window Rock's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Window Rock entered their tilt with Tohatchi on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Cougars.

Ryleigh Owens was a standout: she scored three runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Paisley Begay, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Window Rock's win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Window Rock will square off against Page at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Tohatchi, they will host Navajo Pine at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
