Sinton extended their  winning streak to three games  thanks to a huge performance from  Mykha Green. The Pirates put the hurt on the Alice Coyotes with a sharp  35-14 win on Thursday with plenty of help from  Green, who rushed for 215 yards and four  scores while picking up 12.6 yards per carry. Green is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing yards: he's   rushed for at least 215 every time he's  taken the field this season.
 Sinton's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB  three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Jaycee Castro,  Ezekial Rodriguez III,  and  Derrick Garza, who each picked up one  sack apiece.  Jonathan Rivas was another major factor on D,  making 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending one pass.
 Although Alice took the loss, they still got scores from  Landen Castillo and  Ryder Salaiz.
Sinton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Alice,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Sinton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  38-28  win against Gregory-Portland on the 19th. As for Alice, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  27-24  victory against La Joya on the 18th.
