Volleyball Recap: Lincoln North Star Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Lincoln North Star entered their tilt with Fremont on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

Delainey Volkmer paced Lincoln North Star's offense, picking up 22 kills. Volkmer got some help from Alex Kroll and her 32 assists. Elsie Schmidt and Marie Paneitz kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Lincoln North Star's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Fremont, their loss dropped their record down to 17-13.

Lincoln North Star didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Lincoln Southwest on the 23rd. As for Fremont, after both having extra time off, they and Columbus will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
