Softball Recap: Iowa Falls-Alden Takes a Loss

Iowa Falls-Alden managed to slip by Algona the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cadets came up short against the Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Cadets were not able to get on the board.

Iowa Falls-Alden's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Algona, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Iowa Falls-Alden didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Clear Lake on the 19th. As for Algona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-0 win against St. Ansgar on the 19th.
