Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cook walked away with it. They blew past the Coahulla Creek Colts 8-1 on Wednesday. Considering the Hornets have won 19 games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Cook and bumps their season record up to 23-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games.
