Basketball Recap: Amador Valley Takes a Loss

Amador Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 40-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dougherty Valley Wildcats. The Dons were probably out for revenge after losing 46-40 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Amador Valley's record now sits at 7-16. As for Dougherty Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Amador Valley will head out on the road to challenge Foothill at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Amador Valley is facing Foothill at the right time seeing as Foothill is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Dougherty Valley, they will host Dublin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
