Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Strathmore walked away with it. They walked away with a 47-34 victory over the Kingsburg Vikings on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Strathmore's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points over those games. As for Kingsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Coming up, Strathmore will face off against Bishop Union at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Bishop Union: 27.6, Strathmore: 29) so any points scored will be well earned. Kingsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
