Baseball Recap: Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on the Stockbridge Tigers with a sharp 14-3 win on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Chargers as it put an end to their 13-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Dylan Tinsley spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jay Hernandez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aidin Mathews, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
