Garden Plain extended their road winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Emrick Hays. The Owls simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Kingman Eagles 37-0 with plenty of help from Hays, who rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 50 yards.

Garden Plain's record now sits at 5-1. As for Kingman, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Garden Plain will take on Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Owls are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Kingman, they will face off against Belle Plaine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Dragons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
