Softball Game Preview: BCLUW Comets vs. Clarksville Indians

BCLUW is 0-3 against Clarksville since June of 2023 but things could change on Wednesday. The Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (BCLUW 2.8, Clarksville 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for BCLUW's offense. They fell 4-0 to North Butler on Tuesday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Comets were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Clarksville put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over Sumner-Fredericksburg.

Clarksville pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for BCLUW, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-2.
