Recap: Piedmont Panthers vs. Parkwood Wolf Pack
The Piedmont Panthers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took a 21-7 bruising from Parkwood on Friday. Piedmont has struggled against Parkwood recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Zach Dilworth threw for 123 yards on 13 of 22 attempts. Chas Tanner was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards. On the ground, Nathaniel Gagnon rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown.
Isaiah Boulware-jones was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 57 yards and a touchdown.
Piedmont is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 1-9 record this season. As for Parkwood, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8.
Piedmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Parkwood also has no future games currently scheduled.
