Basketball Recap: Sacramento Country Day Takes a Loss

Sacramento Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 56-17 loss at the hands of the John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills Patriots. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-5.

Elliott Schwartz was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards for John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills. Schwartz's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Bianca Taguinod, who posted ten points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Sacramento Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-14.

As of now, neither Sacramento Country Day nor John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills have any future games scheduled.
