Soccer Recap: Rutland Takes a Loss

Rutland saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to the Dooly County Bobcats. That's two games in a row now that the Hurricanes have lost by exactly two goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Jedfred Pina, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Rutland and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Dooly County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Rutland will head out on the road to square off against Warner Robins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dooly County, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Macon County on the 18th.
