Torrey Pines entered their tilt with West Ranch on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Torrey Pines' offense was headlined by Finley Krystkowiak and Parker Herrin, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Emery Gonzales and her 25 assists. Finally, Krystkowiak was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

West Ranch's loss came despite strong showings from Alexandra Seres and Dani Clewis. Seres had eight digs and two aces, while Clewis hit 83.3% for five kills and six digs, three aces, and one block. Clewis is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 40 games she's played dating back to last season.

Torrey Pines' victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for West Ranch, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 12 matches and leaves them with a 17-4 record.
