Basketball Recap: Taft Takes a Loss

Taft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 32-3 loss at the hands of the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders. While losing is never fun, the Toreadors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 777th, while the Highlanders are ranked 242nd).

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Granada Hills Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Taft nor Granada Hills Charter have any future games scheduled.
