Basketball Recap: Summit Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against La Salle, Summit was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-44 victory over the Roosevelt Mustangs. For the SkyHawks, this counts as revenge for the 79-42 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Summit has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-4.

Summit and Mark Keppel will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Roosevelt, they will challenge Yucaipa at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
