Basketball Recap: Littlestown Thunderbolts vs. Biglerville Canners
If the Littlestown Thunderbolts were feeling good off their 54-21 takedown of the York County Tech Spartans last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Littlestown took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canners. Littlestown has struggled against the Canners recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Biglerville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kierney Weigle, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Weigle is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Eva Hollabaugh, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Littlestown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Biglerville, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10.
Littlestown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Biglerville also has no future games currently scheduled.
