Basketball Game Preview: Sun Valley Vanguards vs. Carver High School of Engineering & Science

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Sun Valley turned things around against Merion Mercy Academy on Thursday. They secured a 44-38 W over the Golden Bears.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Carver High School of Engineering & Science's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. The game between them and Academy at Palumbo didn't end well, with Carver High School of Engineering & Science falling 46-32.

Sun Valley will need focus on slowing down Desiray Zepp, one of several Carver High School of Engineering & Science players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 14 points. The dominant performance gave Zepp a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Isabella Brown, who earned 11 points.

Sun Valley's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
