Soccer Game Preview: Trion vs. Washington-Wilkes

The Trion Bulldogs will take on the Washington-Wilkes Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Trion has five straight wins, Washington-Wilkes has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Trion played against Fugees Academy last Friday and won via forfeit.

Washington-Wilkes fell victim to Madison County and their airtight defense last Friday. They came up short against the Red Raiders, falling 10-0.

Trion's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those seven matchups. As for Washington-Wilkes, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
